Optionally, every photo gets a sentence describing what is in it, so you can search for "beach" or "birthday cake" instead of scrolling. The sentence is written into the file, so the search still works in Apple Photos, Immich or Lightroom once the library moves on.

Nothing is ever deleted from your archives. You decide what a tidied copy contains - keep the biggest of each, keep them all, or go group by group - and that is what gets written.
